Full Name and Birth: Shri Ravi Gangadhar Rana was born on April 28, 1980, in Bhaji Bazaar, Amravati, into a poor family. His father worked as a laborer and supported the family through his hard-earned income. The family consisted of six members — two sisters, two brothers, and their parents. They lived under extremely challenging financial conditions. Despite these hardships, he pursued his education with determination, hard work, and resilience. Rising from such a background, he earned a place in politics and has been elected as an MLA for the fourth time — a remarkable achievement for a laborer’s son.
Family and Personal Life: Shri Ravi Rana is married to Sau Navneet Ravi Rana, a former popular actress and former Member of Parliament from the Amravati Lok Sabha constituency. Together, they serve as an inspiring example of dedication to public service and politics.
Education: He completed his graduation in Commerce from Amravati. He has consistently shown dedication and effort in his educational journey.
Political Career: In 2009, Shri Ravi Rana was elected as an independent candidate from the Badnera Assembly constituency. Since then, he has been elected as an MLA for four consecutive terms. His repeated victories are a strong reflection of the people’s trust in him.
